I have a friend who claims that the last digit of PI is "7". Is this
correct?

Thanks, Datesfat

The probability that this is correct is only 1/10. Ask him, how many
digits PI has.

PS No, it's not correct. There is no "last digit of Pi". Unless by
"pi" he means something other than the ratio of the circumpherence of
a Euclidean circle to its diameter.

No. It is definitely wrong. Since pi is a transcendental number, it
has no last digit.

It's a good thing the computer in the "Wolf in the Fold" episode of
Star Trek didn't know your friend.
