Hi,

while playing with Visual Studio C++ 2005 Express and C# 2005 Express
I have experienced a problem using the designer or connection wizard
to connect to other databases than Access or ./SQLEXPRESS.

Even I could manually write code that connects to other databases I'll
unable to use the nice IDE features to directly connect to non $MS
databases.

What do you suggest?

Are the 2008 Express versions better when connecting to other
databases than Access or ./SQLEXPRESS?
