I don't recall No. 7 appearing in that episode. The main characters
were No. 2 (The Judge), No. 6 (The Prisoner), No. 8 (The Kid), and No.
22 ("Kathy"). No. 6 is his usual uncooperative self. His reluctance to
accept responsibility (combined with No. 2's arrogance) leads to the
death by strangling of No. 22 at the hands of No. 8 -- twice.

No. 22 left 30 years ago, and was not available for the 2000 census.
The same applies for No. 21 & No. 20(who lived with No. 22). No. 9 died
in 2002, and the whereabouts of the other 11 are unknown.

It seems we are left with the glass blower, the potter, the postmaster,
the handyman ( a Mexican with poor English skills), the hippie ( who
moves between the glass blower & the potter), and the head of the
chamber of commerce. They will be re-numbered once the 2010 census
results are published.

There is room for a photographer.

I don't know, but that's why 6 was afraid of 7.
