Have five accounts defined in Mail.app

Four are identical except for user ID/account name.

One of the four started doing this at every launch a few days ago:

> There may be a problem with the mail server or network. Check the
> settings for account "username" or try again.

> The server error encountered was: The connection to the server
> "host.domain.net" on port 0 timed out.

Opened preferences, and all of them are still set to port 110.

Where did the stupid zero come from?

Interestingly, when I closed prefs, it did NOT ask whether
I want to save changes (proving I did not change anything).
But at that point, the error was gone.
