OK, I must have been in a coma in the last 20 years....

When did Apple drop the "rainbow" colours from its logo and get a
white/grey logo ?

Was it when Jobs all-mighty came back to Apple ? (G3 days).

I know that a year or two ago, they removed the "Computers" from their
corporate name.

To avoid doing your googling for you, I'll just say it was quite a few
years ago. Did you really just now learn this? You haven't seen a Mac
Menu Bar, visited Apple.com,or been in an Apple Store (or even seen a
photo of the exterior of an Apple Store) in all those years?

No, "Computers" was never in Apple's corporate name. It was "Apple
Computer, Inc." Now it is "Apple, Inc."

I agree with almost everything that you have said and almost everything that
you will say in your entire life.

No. He said it: he's been in a coma.

It's just a worst case scenario of the typical Mac user.

Starting around 1983 the rainbowed apple decals given with Apple
equipment sales simply said Apple Computers. I have some of the older
rainbow decals that have Apple Computer Inc. on them. Sometime after
that, they changed the font to Apple Garamond, later dropped the word
Computer off the decals too

Somewhat related to Apple History- what about the coupons you got with a
new machine? I must have several dozens from over the years, but haven't
used a one. When- and why- did they start?
