Where Have All The Newsgroups Gone

From: Abradaxis on 13 Aug 2010 13:39 I used to be able to access Newsgroups through IE's outlook express. But all my favorite newsgroups about Word, Excel, etc. have disappeared. I reset my groups, even removed msnews.micrsoft.com and re-added it, but all my office and many of my other groups have just disappeared. HELP!!!!

All public newsgroups will eventually be closed between June 1, 2010 and October 1, 2010. Microsoft will be closing newsgroups in a phased approach, starting with the least active newsgroups and moving eventually to more active ones throughout the course of the next six months.
