I am using a student version of Matlab 2009a (7.0). I submitted a program to my professor which used the randi function, but she doesn't have it on her Matlab version (2007x). But I cannot find out when randi I was included (I read the help page for randi). > > > > How do I find out when randi was included, or what package it's in? I see that link you sent me is to the "Release Notes", which lists when things are added (or modified, or whatever). I want to avoid this problem in the future. How can I search just the Release Notes for the commands in my program? I mean, I know how to search Mathworks (it's up there in the top left corner). Also, do I need to search the release notes for every single command I use (well, I guess some of them are so obviously not recent additions, but you know what I mean)? -Jeff PS Is your location in your profile hooked up to a GPS or something which transmits your coordinates? That would be pretty cool if it was (except that your wife could always find you :D ).
