My folders are organized by event in date order, with tagging in the folder name. So for a picnic with "Larry Moe Curly", the folder name might be "2010-01-01 Picnic with Stooges Larry Moe Curly" When appropriate, I may also put the subject in the file name. -- Best regards, John Buying a dSLR doesn't make you a photographer, it makes you a dSLR owner. Picasa, free from Google, will do that (plus edit your photos if you want). -- Chris Malcolm Warning: none of the above is indisputable fact.

True, but it has so many gotchas that I don't recommend it. -- Best regards, John Buying a dSLR doesn't make you a photographer, it makes you a dSLR owner. This one has Larry, who turns out to be your grand-daughter's godfather, playing tea-party with the grand-daughter. I suppose this folder is called "2010-06-11 Tea party Jessica Larry". What tool do you use to search for all pictures of Larry, when you need a good one for his obituary? Dave S.
