From: Karlee on 21 Apr 2010 20:45 I have Word 2007 and when my work was recovered after shutting down without saving, i opened the recovered documents but they are all locked and I can't save them or edit them, it only lets me view them. Why is this and how do i unlock them!?
From: Graham Mayor on 22 Apr 2010 00:46 Assuming this applies only to your documents that were open at the time and not to new ones you create - see http://www.gmayor.com/what_to_do_when_word_crashes.htm If it applies to all documents, it appears that your Office 2007 trial may have coincidentally expired. -- <>>< ><<> ><<> <>>< ><<> <>>< <>><<> Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org <>>< ><<> ><<> <>>< ><<> <>>< <>><<> "Karlee" <Karlee(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:BFC3C2C2-75B1-4495-AB6B-E8A09CC75A5F(a)microsoft.com... >I have Word 2007 and when my work was recovered after shutting down without > saving, i opened the recovered documents but they are all locked and I > can't > save them or edit them, it only lets me view them.
