Only sometimes. Doesn't matter, I'm not concerned. There's no info on
this computer worth stealing.

No ad, CD, commercial, cripple, demo, nag, share, spy, time-limited,
trial or web wares OR warez for me, please. Adobe Flash sucks, DivX rules.

Unfortunately, there's more than just "Stealing something from it" :)

Using your windows machine as a limited user is a "common-sense"
behaviour that will strongly reduce your chances of being infected by a
trojan...withour having to mess with a lot of "anti-this"/"anti-that"
softwares...

I never said that it might not be a good idea for some people, just that
in my case, it's far more trouble than it's worth.

I still don't understand why running as an unprivileged user should be a
"trouble", especially under Vista/7 :) it just asks you a confirmation
when you need it, say when you need to install a new software...

I'm not polemic, just curious :)

I'm using XP Home SP3 on one machine, XP Pro SP3 on another.

I understand. 80)>

At some point, I might get a new computer with Windows 7 on it. Then it
will be a whole new ball game.
