Can someone explain the diff between WinAmp and WinAmp Lite?

I do not play music, listen to internet radio, watch movies on
computer. I just want something to play simple WAV or MID files I
have on system or I run accross. I have WAV files set to use Windows
sound recorder which is all it does is play WAV files and is small and
simple.

The list of features for the "full" version includes stuff I have
never heard of such as or have any idea how to do:

Buy tickets, find lyrics & download music directly from your media
player
Windows 7 Compliant
Winamp OrglerTM lets you track, chart and share your Winamp listening
history
iTunes Library Import
Find & manage Add-ons directly in your media player
Available in 16 languages including Turkish, Romanian & Brazilian
Portuguese

Use the lite. Before doing so, delete any plugins with "grace"
in the name from the plugin directory.

Can I ask why??

Before I go deleting stuff it would be nice to know why. Last time I
deleted something because someone told me to and I did not ask why my
system crashed.

IIRC, the lite version did not have support for some types of files;
"Juice", for example.

For what you want, I'd just get an old Winamp version, pre-"library"...2.5
or 2.6x.

Just delete it and see if your system crashes. If it does,
reinstall winamp.
It's a phone-home module, if you do not care about privacy,
just leave it there.
