Wind barb plots

From: Travis Knepp on 7 Jul 2010 11:45 I'm trying to plot wind data (I have altitude, time, and wind vector (u and v) data) and would like to plot the data as wind barbs (e.g. see http://ww2010.atmos.uiuc.edu/%28Gh%29/guides/maps/sfcobs/wnd.rxml ). I don't think MatLab can do it. Ok, I know it can be done...I just can't figure it out.
