From: Rick on 26 Mar 2010 10:10 I am running Windows 2008 Standard and would like to know if there is any reason to upgrade to R2? thanks Rick
From: Meinolf Weber [MVP-DS] on 26 Mar 2010 12:29 Hello Rick, This depends on your needs not on the version itself. If you have the need for the new options/features you have to upgrade otherwise it isn't necessary. See here about the differences: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd391932(WS.10).aspx Best regards Meinolf Weber Disclaimer: This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. ** Please do NOT email, only reply to Newsgroups ** HELP us help YOU!!! http://www.blakjak.demon.co.uk/mul_crss.htm > I am running Windows 2008 Standard and would like to know if there is > any reason to upgrade to R2? > > thanks > Rick
