From: Supernova99 on 17 Feb 2010 18:00 Fingers crossed I may have sorted it Checked my security setting against my laptop and made quite a few changes but BINGO! it looks like it has worked. Re-setting IE to default probably made things worse but then something must have changed to stop the page transitions in the first place Anyone know how to export the security settings so I can post them without typing them in by hand Happy Days! -- Windows 7 is a revelation! If IE8's compatibility mode doesn't help use the UAPick toolbar add-on to build a custom User-Agent string which your site does like and which still works with IE8. Otherwise you may have some clean-boot troubleshooting to do. No Add-ons mode is just a convenient first-step for doing that. There are other programs (such as third-party "deskbars") which do interact with IE but are not controllable by No Add-ons mode. E.g. does your symptom occur in a safe boot with Networking? Make sure that you have Windows firewall enabled before testing that case if you usually rely on a third-party software firewall. Good luck Robert Aldwinckle --- > > -- > Windows 7 is a revelation!
