Microsoft has decided not to make any more newsgroups on their server, instead, they seem to be going to web-based message boards instead. However, there is a non-Microsoft affiliated newsgroup out there called alt.windows7.general that many news servers carry (some of them free) check to see if your favorite news server carries it.
