From: Edgard Kniriem on 27 Apr 2010 15:14 Hi Ive just conected a 2nd HD (Samsung 80 GB). Ive changed it from another computer also as a 2nd primary HD and it was O.K. Its formated NTFS and working fine. Partition Magic did recognized it. Acronis True Image found it and I was able to made a Clone from a Seagate 250 GB (only 10% full). The bios Setup recognize it and after the Clone I could even boot from it changing the boot sequence in BIOS. Windows Disk Manager show it either. Then came the problem: Windows Explorer doesnt show it and Second Copy also ignores it. I want to configure Second Copy to make exact copies of everything I do in disk 01, evry thing that change while Im working at every 2 hours. At least I have a clone I can use but I want it exactly as the original. Any hint? TIA Edgard Kniriem --
From: Edgard Kniriem on 28 Apr 2010 10:25 Thank you Andrew. Ive done it but "make active" was greyed. I tried to change the drive letter and it worked. It appeared either in Windows Explorer and in Second Copy and Ive already configured it to work properly. Thank again Edgard "Andrew E." <eckrichco(a)msn.com> escreveu na mensagem news:D4531DBA-4F8E-45CA-9847-88BE4249960E(a)microsoft.com... > Try start, run, type: diskmgmt.msc In msc,L.click on the hd,go to actions, > all, locate & select "make active",close out msc. > > "Edgard Kniriem" wrote: > >> Hi >> Ive just conected a 2nd HD (Samsung 80 GB).
