From: sinosoidal on 15 Mar 2010 06:26 Hi, I known that maybe this is not the best place to post this question but i'm developing a windows driver and that's why i need Windows Logo Kit. What happens is that I have downloaded the Windows Logo Kit iso and when I i«m about to install it on Windows 7, I have an error from the installer saying that the OS is not supported and that the supported OS is Windows Server 2003. This seems awkward! Can someone give a tip about this? In the installation guide of WLK, it says that the supported OS's are Windows 7 as well as others... I really need to start with tests on my multitouch driver and i'm kinda of stuck with this situation. Any tips? Thanks, With my best regards, Nuno
From: Tenwang on 18 Mar 2010 03:39 WLK does not support Windows 7 as server. Install it on OS below (Win 2003 or XP). You can then run the test, (windows 7 as client). Go through the documentations, things will be more clear.

The WLK controller is only supported on Windows Server 2003 x86 SP1 and SP2. The WLK client is supported on Win XP and above.
