I have update my Windows Vista 32-Bit to the new SP1. But after installing
the SP1, my Synaptic Mouse Pad is not work. And there is an update for that
on the Windows Update Site but I can't update it for some unknown errors.

I am not sure how to proceed for help. I have tried the troubleshoot but
that does not help too. I have a Toshiba Laptop. The Synaptic Mouse Pad was
working perfectly fine until I installed the SP1.
Can anyone help me solve the issue?

Whip out the devices CD that came with your laptop, delete the current
driver and let the OS reload it from the CD.
