Safe Mode
I'm trying to get my computer to boot up in Safe mode in order to remove a virus. chkdsk failure
As a general check on my system ( XP Pro Service Pack 2 running on Pentium 4 R3.6ghz, 1GBram.) I tried to run chkdsk /f /r. It asked to do it on next start-up and I entered y. Perflib_Perfdata_***.dat
I periodically have files, "Perflib_Perfdata_***.dat" show up in my Temp. folder. (The *** are dynamic; they change with date and time.) They resist being deleted. TrayApp
I'm getting a message that says: Insert the TrayApp disk and click OK. What does this refer to? Earlier I got a message about a PhotoGallery. Unable to set folder sharing
