From: Gary at Arrowpoint on 9 Dec 2009 13:13 I'm trying to update my PC -- just reinstalled XP and have a lot of downloads. A few downloaded but rest don't. They give the 0x80072EFD error and I've made all the checks and corrections I know for this, including proxy settings, firewall settings (it's completely off now), antivirus settings, and dns cache flushing. I'm out of ideas. Anyone have any more? Thanks!
From: PA Bear [MS MVP] on 10 Dec 2009 00:07 Why did you reinstall WinXP? Did you do a Repair Install or a clean install? -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-IE, Mail, Security, Windows Client - since 2002 www.banthecheck.com Gary at Arrowpoint wrote: > I'm trying to update my PC -- just reinstalled XP and have a lot of > downloads.
