Hi,

I have Windows XP SP3 installed in my system. But when I try to install
OBIEE in my system, I get "Oracle Business Intelligence is not supported on
this Windows version. Oracle Business Intelligence is only supported on
Windows XP x86, Windows 2003 x86, Windows 2003 AMD64, Windows 2003 EM64T,
Windows Vista x86, Windows Vista AMD64, Windows Vista EM64T, and Windows 2000
x86." error. Can anyone please help me with this?

If you Google:

Oracle Business Intelligence is not supported

You will get some ideas - sounds like you should verify that the built
in XP systeminfo command runs properly. To do this, click Start, Run
and in the box enter:

cmd

Click OK to open a command window and at the prompt, enter:

systeminfo

If that complains, you need to figure it out and fix it. I read the
installation of OBIEE will not work if systeminfo does not work.

If you cannot figure it out, post the results and more information
back and we can try to help.

Please provide additional information about your system:

Click Start, Run and in the box enter:

msinfo32

Click OK, and when the System Summary info appears, click Edit, Select
All, Copy and then paste
the information back here.

There will be some personal information (like System Name and User
Name), and whatever appears to
be private information to you, just delete it from the pasted
information.

This will minimize back and forth Q&A and eliminate guesswork.

Apparently Oracle Business Intelligence is a suite or family of products, so
no one here knows with which one you are having problems.

This isn't a Windows XP issue, anyway. It's an issue with the installer for
the program. If you have a legitimate copy of their software, start here:
