Windows XP Pro SP3 Full Version for $39.99 http://www.shoppalstores.com/softwareiq/index.cfm/fa/items.main/parentcat/29815/subcatid/0/id/412076 Oh the price went up I see. It is $44.99 now. I never used them so I don't know about this place. It is the cheapest I could find with a search engine. -- Bill Windows XP SP2 (5.1.2600) Asus EEE PC 702G8 ~ 2GB RAM ~ 16GB-SDHC

Not legally, no. Is this a legitimate, bought XP license? Do you still have the product key for it? When you buy a copy, what you are essentially buying is the license to use it, and it's the product key that uniquely identifies that license. So if you have the key, you can borrow and copy a friend's CD, as long as it matches your key with respect to the following: whether they are Professional, Home, Media Center; whether they are OEM or retail; whether they are Full or Upgrade. If it doesn't match in any of those respects your key won't work with it. If you have neither a CD nor a key, you're out of luck entirely and need to buy a new one. -- Ken Blake, Microsoft MVP (Windows Desktop Experience) since 2003 Please Reply to the Newsgroup
