From: emory.miles on 23 Nov 2009 21:04 Has anyone discovered a solution to this problem. I also have Vista and within the last week my pc started saying "Windows can't check for updates". I have tried every solution I could find by searching the internet to no avail. I am almost ready to give up and wipe my hard drive and install linux. From: poettem on 25 Nov 2009 13:07 I also have the same problem - vista, can't check for updates, etc. and i was thinking of wiping my hard drive too.. but because i haven't used that computer for over a year, i wasn't sure if that had anything to do with the problem.. now it seems to be a problem with vista, since you only started to have this problem last week.. so i think i'll wait for a solution to come up ??? ps. my other vista computer that i use daily doesn't seem to have this update problem though..
