From: PW on 9 Nov 2009 14:08 Hi, Now it is happening to another client all of a sudden. The last one had to reinstall XP to run our Access 2003 MDE. When they click on our icon, the Windows Installer program appears, then disappears and nothing happens. We had them reinstall our application and Windows Installer comes back up and says it can not find one of it's components and the installation stops. We tried having them run the Windows Installer fix from the MS website but that does nothing. I believe what the two had in common is that they updated their Norton Security suite and definitions. I can not find anything about this problem using the search engines or the MS Knowledge base. Any ideas?? -paulw

Now they can not run our Access 2003 application after successfully running it for years. Does any one have a solution besides reinstalling Windows? -paulw
