Be nice if one could resize a window that is one right of a big
screen wider in one operation rather than two: you move it left
and then drag bottom right. One way would be to provide resize
corner on bottom left. In fact, I vaguely recall having a window
placing app on 8 or was it OS 6? You worked out the size and
favourite window placements and had key commands. With
Applescript I think. I recall it being very useful once one had
remembered the key commands.

I don't normally promote my own software here, but that's one of the
things MondoMouse (http://www.atomicbird.com/mondomouse) enables--
resizing from any corner. You press a modifier key combo (by default,
cmd-option, but you can change it) and whichever window is under the
mouse resizes from whichever of its corners is closest to the mouse.

according to macworld, it doesn't work properly in snow leopard. they
suggest a new utility called zooom.

Neat looking software. I like the mouse over window and drag
thing, that is cool. If Apple built bottom left draggable corner,
that would be nice too, no need then to press modifier keys.

or that you didn't read the article, since they mention that version,
yet they still had problems.
