My Word 2000 won't open. Generic error message: "Microsoft Word for Windows
has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvenience.". I don't understand the technical info that the error
message collected.

I've uninstall Office 2000 and reloaded it and it still doesn't want to
open. I only use my pc for simple stuff so don't want to buy a new PC to
upgrade to Window 7. Thanks for any help.

You may not understand the technical info, but others here may. Post it.
