From: Mike H on 14 Feb 2010 10:28 Hi, The 'Windows' bit prevents the resizing/minimising etc of each Window. At the same time as you select it watch the window minimise/maximise buttons disappear in the top right corner. -- Mike When competing hypotheses are otherwise equal, adopt the hypothesis that introduces the fewest assumptions while still sufficiently answering the question. This is from the Excel help file: To protect the structure of a workbook so that worksheets in the workbook can't be moved, deleted, hidden, unhidden, or renamed, and new worksheets can't be inserted, select the Structure check box. To protect windows so that they are the same size and position each time the workbook is opened, select the Windows check box. To prevent others from removing workbook protection, type a password, click OK, and then retype the password to confirm it. So apparently, it only affects size and position of the windows if Windows is selected.
