found the problem (yet no solution):

the terminal server is not running and if I try to run it, it will say
that it's been stopped again (like I said I have a non english version
of xp so I don't know how to precisely translate the message)

Any clue?

Try:

1. Disable Fast User Switching
2. Reboot
3. Re-enable Fast User Switching
