It would have to be a sort of fold-out left-and-right-winged version. By the way,I bought a laptop. It cost 600 francs. ($550) The cheapest netbook in the cheapest store here cost 379 francs. Then I bought Office home and student 2010 (I still had 2003 version) online for 60 francs less than the store price, and it's amazing! I've never had "publisher" on my PC before! It is sooooo cool! Me and my husband have our own business, and the things I'll be able to do with "publisher"! I have the laptop at home, and just continue to use my own paper notebook and ink pen in the bus... When the netbooks cost 150 and less, I'll buy one, though. Cheers guys, have a lovely summer! Melanie

Hi Melanie! I haven't created much in PowerPoint, just use it to view PowerPoint files. Although MS has a free viewer for that anyway. I just like MS Office mainly for Word and Excel (I don't like OpenOffice and StarOffice isn't much better). I do have publisher, but I never installed it. So you like that one, eh? They do sell (hard to find netbooks) at around $150. But most of them are the crappy Windows CE versions with almost no memory, etc in them. Although they should be fine for all of your typing you want to do. So that would be a good thing. And if they ever break, I don't think you will find parts available or even spare batteries. So this would be bad too. A better idea IMHO is that you can buy like new netbooks (used of course) for around this price range. And sometimes refurbished netbooks in this price range too. This is where I would look if it were I. Sure beats using pen and paper and retyping everything once again. ;-) -- Bill Gateway MX6124 ('06 era) 1 of 3 - Windows XP SP2 |
