From: kemp on 29 Dec 2009 10:50 I have an IIS 6.0 server with a web site based on PHP. When you go to download a file such as this: "http://clients.udaltd.com/Billi_Springer/allen res.zip" it appears that IE is corrupting the file, while Firefox does not. After download the IE file is 3.94 MB while the good Firefox file is 2.56 MB. This is only tested on IE6. Does anyone know what could be the culprit for this behavior? Most of my clients use IE so obviously I need to fix this...THX
From: kemp on 29 Dec 2009 10:57 Also note that the interface to download the file is here: http://clients.udaltd.com/Billi_Springer/ "kemp" wrote: > I have an IIS 6.0 server with a web site based on PHP. From: .._.. on 30 Dec 2009 10:24 What is the MIME type of .zip set to in your IIS settings? Mine is set to: "application/x-zip-compressed" and have not had any reports of IE or any other browsers not doing a proper DL.
