Dear users,

This should be a very simple question; your help would be greatly
appreciated!

I was wondering when a series of ANCOVA should be used instead of
MANOVA. I was wondering if there is some restriction on the number of
sample size in relation to the number of dependent variables in
particular.

Thank you for your inputs in advance!

It is my opinion that ANCOVA and MANOVA are not interchangeable.

ANCOVA means you have some categorical and some continuous PREDICTOR
variables.

MANOVA means you have multiple RESPONSE variables.
