algebraic loop error- automatic gain control

I am unable to overcome the algebraic loop error while trying to simulate the model in simulink. I have used a embedded function block for the variable gain amplifier and for the envelope detector. This is the error tat i get.. Trouble solving algebraic loop containing 'agc_try/Embedded MATLAB Function1' at time 0. Stopping simulation. There may be a singularity in the solution. If the model is correct, try reducing the step size (either by reducing the fixed step size or by tightening the error tolerances). Suggestions are most welcomes..
