From: kazabeDELETE on 16 Jun 2010 16:27 Hi. We are implemented a spamfilter with a linux server, to protect a MS Exchange Server. The filter work fine, but all the banned messages are stored in the linux server. We need "give" that messages to the users, but we dont know how to create a rule for all the users to move the messages to the junk folder. The idea is: linux mark the spam messages adding the tag [SPAM] to the subject. pass the tagged message to ms exchange, and if exchange detect that tag, move the message to the user junk folder. How can i do that? or is possible do it with a domain template to apply directly on the Outlook user? Thanks in advance.

If you're using Exchange 2007 you should be able to create a transport rule that sets the SCL value to something your Hub Transport's (or Edge server) content filtering will use to place the message into the junk e-mail folder. --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP

Then you should be able to use the IMF and the custom words XML file to set the SCL. >Is possible create a domain admin template to the clients? all the >clients have office 2007 (and some are testing 2010) There's no way that I know of to create a rule in every mailbox. --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP
