From: garm on 22 Feb 2010 21:12 I recently purchased office home and student. Then I purchased the book to help me figure out how to uses attachments But the book is about 3 inches thick and I need to be able to use attachments soon. I'm taking online courses and in the assignment section it says to compose my work in word then send as an attachment. Theres a button to push that will download the attachment. but how do I do this?
From: Doug Robbins - Word MVP on 23 Feb 2010 00:28 The home and student edition of Office does not include the Outlook mail program. You will have to initiate you email messages in what ever Mail program that you do use and then use the attachment facility of that software to attach your Word documents to the message. I cannot imagine there being a need to write a 3 inch thick book on the subject of attachments (to email messages); 3 paragraphs should do it. -- Hope this helps, Doug Robbins - Word MVP Please reply only to the newsgroups unless you wish to obtain my services on a paid professional basis.
