I'm a new system administrator at a small startup company.
My boss wants to prevent propriety info from being send
thru the mail. So I'm to take a sample of the mail at periodic
intervals and then go thru these manually as I have time.
The ones that are ok, get sent to their destination. The ones
having some kind of issue are sent to the boss who is at
another location. All that I read basically said to sort of hack
at sendmail.

thanks for the input,
glen

It sounds like you want the mail that is to be sampled to be held (not
delivered) until after it is reviewed. Correct?

If this is the case, you could configure sendmail to quarantine messages
and not actually deliver them until they are ""cleared.

If you don't want to manually ""clear all messages, just some of them,
you will need to set something up to periodically ""clear some of the
messages, leaving just the ones for you to manually ""clear.
