Could anyone help us.

I've tried about everything to bypass the password of my former toshiba
tecra 8100 laptop.
I really forgot it. (I didn't use it for a long time because of some errors
with tbe screen.)
I've searched the internet and tried the parallel loopback.
Checked the connections over and over but somehow it doesn't work.
I would like to give the notebook to my daughter!
Does somebody have a suggestion.
