If you don't have a bootable XP installation CD, make a bootable Recovery Console CD: You can create a bootable XP Recovery Console CD when no XP media is available by following the directions in this link: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic276527.html
From: PA Bear [MS MVP] on 19 Jun 2010 12:35 Are you running WinXP SP2 or SP3? What anti-virus application or security suite is installed and is your subscription current? What anti-spyware applications (other than Defender)? What third-party firewall (if any)? Has a(another) Norton or McAfee application ever been installed on the computer (e.g., a free-trial version that came preinstalled when you bought it)? <QP> The following actions might prevent an error like this from happening again: 1. Download and install updates and device drivers for your computer from Windows Update. 2. Scan your computer for computer viruses. 3. Check your hard disk for errors. </QP> Source & more: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff560355(VS.85).aspx -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-IE, Mail, Security, Windows Client - since 2002 matt360z wrote: > i have a problem with my computer, everytime i restart it, it goes to a > blue screen right away and nothing works even safe mode and i cant even > access my computer.
