We've got another pup from Dogs With Wings for a few days, and Michener
couldn't be happier.

This little gal, while a bit on the small side, can really tough it out with
the big boy...

They were having a great time and moving quick. I took this shot hoping to
get a bit of fast action blur, with enough stability and focus to make a
pic...

Did it work?

Take Care,
Dudley

Haha, very good Dudley. I like it very much when dogs "attack" each other
like that, showing a bit of the wolf in them. Also, cats sometimes play
"wild feline" and attack my hand when I stroke them. The best is when cats
try to pur when eating, making a very funny sound.

Yes, no matter how tame they are, there still seems to be a bit of the beast
in them, doesn't there...

From feedback I've received, it sounds like the image was rather more blurry
than I had hoped... And, given it was taken with a small sensor camera at
an ISO speed where the noise starts to creep in, it sounds like it was also
fairly noisy...

I had tried to take a similar shot using my Rebel XSi, but it is larger and
more awkward to aim, so I just got a bunch of legs, tails and partial head
shots. This shot was most representative of their rather aggressive
play-date...

Isha will be with us till tomorrow, so I may have a few more opportunities
to better the shot.

Once again, thanks for your comments,
Dudley

You're welcome, Dudley. The photo was a bit blurry, but it's expected, since
the dogs were moving so fast. You got Mich's mouth just across the edge of
the frame.
Have you heard about this joke? The dog thinks about his owner: he provides
me food, shelter, he pets me, he fulfils all my needs. He must be a god.
The cat thinks: He provides me food, shelter, he pets me, he fulfils all my
needs. I must be a god.

Yup! Dogs have owners. Cats have staff.
