If perchance it was written to not use the registry, there may not be anything to do but delete certain folders: Check the gam'e documentation for ways to uninstall it. From: "db" databaseben at hotmail dot on 18 Feb 2010 12:21 you might try uninstalling it via safe mode. if all else fails, simply delete the parent folder and run a registry cleaner called eusing. it will reconcile the registry keys to the file system and any remaining keys/orphans will be removed. the above manual steps will complete the removal of that program. -- db·´¯`·...¸><)))º> DatabaseBen, Retired Professional - Systems Analyst - Database Developer - Accountancy - Veteran of the Armed Forces - Microsoft Partner - @hotmail.com ~~~~~~~~~~"share the nirvana" - dbZen > > "JohnB" <johnb(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:51E000E5-39FA-458B-A810-3D679EB29804(a)microsoft.com... > Have a program: "DOGZ 5" (game) installed by daughter via disk and cannot > uninstall/delete. > I click START, CONTROL PANEL, ADD OR REMOVE PROGRAMS, highlight unwanted > program, click CHANGE/REMOVE and there is no response. > Other porgrams have been removed sucessfully. From: Bob I on 18 Feb 2010 12:50 If no uninstaller is available at the game vendors web site for it, use this program. http://www.revouninstaller.com/ JohnB wrote: > Have a program: "DOGZ 5" (game) installed by daughter via disk and cannot > uninstall/delete. > I click START, CONTROL PANEL, ADD OR REMOVE PROGRAMS, highlight unwanted > program, click CHANGE/REMOVE and there is no response. > Other porgrams have been removed sucessfully.
