Hi,

I have a friend with an iMac running 10.6.2 with Parallels Desktop 5.
He turned off the networking in Parallels as a security measure.
However, he now wants to use the Internet after all (in XP) and asked
me to help him with it. Since I have not used Parallels, I searched
the web trying to find something to resolve this but was unable to
locate anything. Does anyone know of a website that they could
point me to in order to figure this out? I did try configuring the
Parallels Desktop Prefs under the Network icon but that didn't do the
trick either. I set it to DHCP with a range between 1 and 254 and the
correct subnet mask but I still could not connect with IE to any
website or even ping from DOS.
