none of the selections under case change work. i.e. sentence case, upper
case, etc. I am not able to get a new sentence to begin w/capital. Any
suggestions?

Hi Joe,

Does the font you're using have upper-case characters? It would be rather strange if even the Shift & Caps Lock keys didn't allow
you "to get a new sentence to begin w/capital".
