From: JLivesay on 27 May 2010 16:13 I apparently closed a file that I had edited on my thumb drive (j) and now the edits have disappeared. Is there a way to recover them?
From: Yves Dhondt on 27 May 2010 16:24 If you haven't saved the changes, they are gone. On a side note, try avoiding saving directly to a thumb drive. Rather save locally, and then copy the result. Less chance of data corruption that way. From: Graham Mayor on 27 May 2010 16:52 You should never work from removable media as it can lead to document corruption - however the basic premise remains. If you close a document without saving the changes, there is nothing to recover. -- <>>< ><<> ><<> <>>< ><<> <>>< <>><<> Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org <>>< ><<> ><<> <>>< ><<> <>>< <>><<> "JLivesay" wrote: > I apparently closed a file that I had edited on my thumb drive (j) and now > the edits have disappeared.
