From: RW on 1 Jun 2010 23:59 Recently I started getting codec error messages when I attempt to play certain MP3 files on my XP computer. The files play fine on my MP3 player as well as my Vista laptop, however. So what gives? The files used to play ok on the XP machine, but not now. Any suggestions?

From: RW on 2 Jun 2010 12:12 Do'h! Good idea. :-) Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file. What's strange is that only some of my MP3's won't play- the others are fine, and they ALL play on my other (Vista) PC and generic MP3 player. Do I need to "un-codec" and "re-codec" the MP3 files? Thanks!
