After which of these? c:\> or c:\>windows or c:\>windows\system32 ??? 3-Are there any 'spaces' at all between those words or quotations marks, or anywhere there? I have guessed but nothing works. Thanks
From: John John - MVP on 21 Dec 2009 07:36 That wont work in the Recovery Console. There is no way to query or edit the registry from the Recovery Console. If you want to edit the registry you have to do it from another Windows XP installation or you have to use a PE boot disk.
