I'd try removing the combo box and re-adding it. But check to see what events
are linked to the combo box.

i don't use my rea; addy. spammers got a hold of it many years ago so i
changed ISPs, but kept the addy for news groups.

i advised the person i was helping to just add new controls. she seemed
pleased.
