From: Shaun on 18 Dec 2009 21:36 Hello, I'm looking for a transistor tester that tests gain and leakage of transistors, also tests diodes and has enough current to light up an LED. Would prefer if it would identify leads and tell me the voltage on the diode / low voltage zener and LED. I am considering the M^3 electronixs model but what else is out there? thanks, Shaun

I have no problem soldering, the M^3 unit even comes preassembled if a person is willing to spend a little more money. I've never heard of Peakelec before, I guess that's because there in the UK. later, Shaun
