I have a new cell phone I partially understand. I have a Mac OS X
laptop I know pretty well. They both have Bluetooth capabilities. I
thought they ought to be able to converse. This morning I managed to
introduce them to each other. The computer and phone are willing to
exchange contact lists.

The phone can upload photos to a Sprint website. The website won't let
me upload photos from my computer to the website, though it claims to.
It also won't, as far as I've been able to determine, let me download
cell photos to the computer. This is illogical.

The Sprint "help" is, as is too often the case, useless. It tells me to
use an option not available on the website.

Sneaky solutions, anyone??

Well, some of those sites don't like Macs and Mac apps, but you might
try to use the Opera 10.x or iCab 4.x or newer browser and set it to
emulate Internet Explorer 6.x, 7.x or 8.x and see, if this can help...

Opera 10.10

iCab 4.7

I got the cable to link my Samsung phone to the Mac, and I was able to
download music files via Bluetooth, but I didn't try picture files. I
was unable to mount the phone in such a was as to install ring-tone
files for use. My phone service was Earthlink/Virgin Mobile, now Sprint.
My solution is to get either a Blackberry or an iPhone, when my contract
runs out at the end of April.
