From: CBB on 2 Jun 2010 11:33 Hi I am trying to concatenate first name and last name columns, all is good till I copy and paste special.....It say copy and paste area is not the same size...and it is. Here is the real dilemma, when I copy and past the data into a new spread sheet and concatenate it works, except in certain records it drops the actual name and I end up with a blank field, that causes great grief when I send said data to another process that strips blank lines and shifts remaining data up resulting in an absolute train wreck of srong names to addresses. Help
From: Don Guillett on 2 Jun 2010 11:42 If desired, send your file to my address below. I will only look if: 1. You send a copy of this message on an inserted sheet 2. You give me the newsgroup and the subject line 3. You send a clear explanation of what you want 4. You send before/after examples and expected results. -- Don Guillett Microsoft MVP Excel SalesAid Software dguillett(a)gmail.com "CBB" <CBB(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:AF86FD3A-63A0-4D09-AC50-47422903AEF7(a)microsoft.com... > Hi > I am trying to concatenate first name and last name columns, all is good > till I copy and paste special.....It say copy and paste area is not the > same > size...and it is.
