Hello again,

ok, so now I have installed new HDD WD Caviar PATA 320GB. Its recognized in
BIOS. What's next? I keep getting hung at "verifying DMI data pool....."

Another thought, did you set the bios to boot from CD first?

I've attempted to boot using XP installation disk but only get to where it
appears it is setting up window and then it will either hang there or I get
the BSOD with the following at the bottom: stop: 0XC0000005,
0X807E856E............ So I never actually get to the point where I can
enter recovery console. This negates a lot of the possible fixes I've read
about.
