From: Giacomo Boffi on 6 Apr 2010 10:04 the vnc client for the macintosh "Chicken of the VNC" (aka cotvnc) <http://sourceforge.net/projects/cotvnc/> assumes that anybody wants the "Option" key mapped to some kind of modifier on the contrary many users of international keyboards, that have to use "Option" to enter lots of useful characters (think of "{" and think of C programming), would prefer to leave the Option key alone and have cotvnc pass "{" to the remote server whenever they press the "Shift Option �" keys on, e.g., an italian keyboard i use these ngs to make an appeal to the developers of cotvnc: please fix "Option" key treatment for users of non-us keyboards tia, gb
